Do I have to worry about altitude sickness in Bhutan while trekking?
Generally all the treks in Bhutan are high altitude one varying from 3500 m to 5000 m. Consequently, to a certain extent altitude sickness comes into play depending on physical state and acclimatization process. In order to combat this issue, we have Pressure Bag (Gamow Bag) in treks and our guides are well trained and licensed by Tourism Counsel of Bhutan for any contingency measures.
